Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Streamlined collects, why, and what choices people have. We've tried to write it the way we'd want it explained to us: plainly, and only promising what the app really does.
Who we are
Parker Manuel LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, doing business as Streamlined ("Streamlined," "we"), runs the Streamlined website at usestreamlined.com, the web app at usestreamlined.com/app and the Streamlined iPhone app, for churches, nonprofits and other organizations ("organizations").
Who controls the information
When an organization uses Streamlined, the organization decides who is invited and what is uploaded. For that information, the organization is in charge and we handle it on its behalf. For information about our own website visitors, beta sign-ups and billing contacts, we are in charge.
What we collect
| Kind of information | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Name, email address, role (Owner to Viewer), church, campus or team, and language | The organization (when it invites someone) or the person |
| Alert settings | Whether you get alert emails and phone alerts, and in which language | The person |
| Content | Requests, copy (English and Spanish), notes, comments, approvals, files attached to a request (photos, PDFs, documents, design files), and the brand kit and voice guide (logos, colors, fonts, wording) | People using Streamlined |
| Request history | Who submitted, edited, approved or sent back a request, who covered for whom, and when a print shop link was made or marked printed | Automatically, as people use Streamlined |
| Print shop contacts | A print shop's name, email and phone | The organization's Admins |
| Phone push token | A code Apple gives the iPhone app so approval alerts reach your phone | Your iPhone, only if you turn on phone alerts |
| Sign-in records | Your email, the one-time code we send, and when you signed in | Automatically, when you sign in |
| Beta sign-ups | Name, church, role, email, number of campuses and an optional note | The person, on usestreamlined.com |
| Billing contact | Name, email, billing address and the last four digits of a card | The organization's billing contact, through Stripe, when paid plans begin |
| Website requests | Standard information any website receives, like IP address, browser and the page asked for | Automatically, through our hosting provider |
We don't collect your location, contacts, health information or browsing history, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on the website or in the app.
Photos uploaded by an organization may show people, including children. The organization decides what to upload and is responsible for getting photo releases.
Your browser or phone also keeps a few things on the device itself: your sign-in, your language choice, and a saved copy of website pages so they open offline. In Preview mode (before an organization's database is connected), everything you enter stays on that one device and never reaches us.
How we use it
- To run Streamlined: sign-ins, requests and approvals, in-app notifications, alert emails and phone alerts, and delivering approved orders to the print shop the organization chooses.
- To keep it secure: check who may see and do what, keep each request's history, stop misuse and recover from problems.
- To support organizations and fix problems. When we need to look at an organization's content to help, we do it only to answer that request.
- To reply to beta sign-ups and questions.
- To bill organizations, once paid plans begin.
What we never do
- We never sell personal information.
- We never use organizations' content to train AI models.
- We never use content or contact lists for advertising.
- We never track you across other companies' apps or websites.
AI
Streamlined doesn't send anyone's content to an AI service today. The voice guide's suggestions are simple word swaps that your organization sets up, and they run inside Streamlined.
We plan to add writing help (drafts, voice suggestions, Spanish translation and image descriptions) using Anthropic's Claude through its commercial service. Before that's turned on, we'll update this policy. When it is, only the text needed for the task will be sent to Anthropic to produce a suggestion, and Anthropic's commercial terms say it does not train on customers' inputs or outputs by default.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help run Streamlined, under terms that limit their use of it, and with the print shop an organization chooses for a specific order.
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage |
| Resend | Sends sign-in codes and alert emails |
| Apple Push Notification service | Delivers phone alerts to the iPhone app, if you turn them on |
| Lovable | Hosts the website and web app |
| Google Fonts | Provides the fonts the pages use (your browser asks Google for them) |
| Stripe | Payments on our website, once paid plans begin |
| Canva, Figma and Adobe Express | Only if your organization connects them: bring the designs you choose into your template library |
Design apps (Canva, Figma, Adobe Express) are off unless your organization connects them. When a Central Admin or Owner connects Canva or Figma, we keep that app's sign-in on our server, sealed so it can't be read, and use it only to export the designs your designers pick into your template library. We don't send those apps anything about your people or requests. Adobe Express runs Adobe's own editor on our page: you sign in to Adobe there, and only the design you save comes back to us. Disconnecting deletes the sign-in; templates already added stay until you remove them. Each app's own privacy policy covers what you do in that app.
A print shop gets a private link to one approved order: the church and campus, the order's title, details, wording, quantity, size and due date, its files and logo, and the names of the person who sent it and the people who approved it. It doesn't get an account or see anything else. That link stops working 90 days after it's made, or 30 days after the order is marked printed.
Inside an organization, people see only what their role allows: their church, narrowed by campus and team.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
The iPhone app
- The app asks to send notifications once. If you say yes, we store your phone's push token so approval alerts reach it. Turning off Notify this phone stops the alerts; signing out on that phone or deleting your account removes the token.
- The app only opens your photos or files when you choose one to attach.
- There's nothing to buy in the app. Organizations pay on our website.
- The app collects the same information as the website, listed above, and nothing for tracking or advertising.
Where it's stored and how long we keep it
- Our database and files are stored in the United States.
- We keep an organization's information while its account is active.
- Some things end on their own: invites expire after 14 days, print shop links as described above, and alerts that can't be sent within 2 days are dropped.
- After an organization's account ends, it has 90 days to ask us for a copy of its content. Then we delete it from active systems, and from backups as they cycle out.
- Beta sign-ups are kept while we're in touch about the beta. Ask anytime and we'll delete yours.
- Records may be kept longer when needed for security or legal reasons.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, anytime, in the app: More, Account, Delete my account. It can't be undone.
- It removes your sign-in, your place in every church, your backups, your notifications, your alert settings and your phone push tokens.
- Requests and comments you sent stay with the church, with your name on them, because they're part of the church's history. The church's Owner can ask us to remove them.
- If you're the only Owner of a church that has other people in it, you'll be asked to make someone else an Owner first. If you're the only person in a church, that church and everything in it is deleted too.
Children
Streamlined is built for church and nonprofit staff and volunteers, not for children. People under 13 may not have accounts. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we'll delete it.
Your choices
- You can change your name and language at any time under Account.
- You can turn alert emails and phone alerts on or off under Notifications. Every alert email also has a one-tap link to turn them off.
- You can delete your account in the app (see above).
- To see, correct or delete other personal information, ask your organization's Owner or Admin, or write to us at hello@parkermanuel.com. We'll work with the organization to respond.
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under state or other privacy laws. We'll honor those requests as the law requires.
Security
Information travels over encrypted connections and is encrypted where it's stored. You sign in with a one-time 6-digit code sent to your email, so there's no password to steal. Every table has row-level security, so people only reach their own church's information, and every change is re-checked on the server against the person's role. Each church's files sit in a private folder that only its people can open. Alerts are sent only from our servers, never from a browser. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we'll tell the organizations involved without delay.
Changes
If we make important changes, we'll email Owners at least 30 days before they take effect and update the date at the top.
